The insurance and financial services industry is undergoing a radical transformation process. The speed of current market changes due to globalization, digitalization and new technologies is constantly increasing. More than ever, lifelong learning is necessary in order to be able to actively shape the future of our industry in the long term. The future demands on leaders are high: professional competence, methodological competence, data competence, technological competence and leadership competence are becoming indispensable success factors.
That is why the Institute of Insurance Economics (IVW-HSG) is offering a new industry-specific Executive Master’s degree starting in 2023. In addition to the existing Executive Master in Law, this is the second part-time Master program offered by the University of St.Gallen. This uniquely flexible postgraduate program focuses on the insurance and financial services industry and is aimed at executives who want to assume responsibility in a volatile world and competently meet the high market demands – with a special focus on gradual title acquisition.
«A practical, valuable and varied learning journey for personal development, which, thanks to excellent lecturers, provides added value for managers from politics and business – thus an intensive and exciting learning phase for managers with valuable exchange between the professors and the participants.»
David Küttel
CEO, Generali Investments Schweiz AG
