Programme overview

What does it take to become a successful board member? How are the roles and responsibilities of boards changing and what behaviours, attitudes and mindsets are expected from future directors? In this programme we will spotlight best practices in board governance and debunk common myths around the board of directors.

You will learn about the grand challenges and dilemmas facing chairpersons and board members today and hear how they deal with issues such as boardroom cohesion and diversity, ESG, succession planning, strategic involvement as well as regulatory and individual liability concerns. In addition, you will be able to exchange with chairpersons, board members and peers on what you can do in your current career stage in order to get shortlisted early for future board mandates.
