Claudio Feser is an honorary professor and executive director of the MBA at the University of St. Gallen, as well as senior partner emeritus and senior advisor at McKinsey & Company, Inc. He also serves on the supervisory and advisory boards of several companies.
He joined McKinsey in 1992, was elected partner in 1998 and senior partner in 2004. He was head of McKinsey Greece from 1999 to 2004, of McKinsey Switzerland from 2005 to 2020 and of the global Leadership Development Practice from 2011 to 2018. He was also a member of the Shareholder Council, the firm’s global board.
In 2019, he joined the Executive Education Committee at the University of St. Gallen and started teaching at the pre-experience and executive education levels. He teaches leadership, strategy (decision making) and innovation at the University of St. Gallen and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). He is the author and co-author of four books published by Wiley and Nicholas Brealey. He is also the author and co-author of several essays, articles and teaching cases published in Nature (online), Harvard Business Publishing, Oxford University Press and McKinsey Quarterly, among others.
