Since January 2022 Thomas Schumacher has been serving as the head of programme for the SKU Executive Management Programme at the HBM School of Entrepreneurship (ES-HSG). Furthermore, he co-heads the school’s HBM Management Lab.
His research and transfer activities focus on organisational development, change- and transformation processes, strategy development and -implementation and leadership development. His papers have been published in leading scholarly and popular outlets, incl. Strategic Organisation, European Management Review, Journal of Change Management Journal of Management Education, Systemic practice and action research, Action Learning: Research and Practice, Zeitschrift für OrganisationsEntwicklung.
He holds a diploma in business administration, psychology and is partner and consultant of osb-i, a systemic Management and Organizational Development consultancy, professor for leadership and organization at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Freiburg, lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and co- editor of the Journal ‘OrganisationsEntwicklung’. Following studies in Cologne, Dublin, Bonn and St. Gallen he was trained in different systemic consulting approaches and has worked for over 20 years as organisational and management consultant.
