The newly designed CAS Leading Sustainable Business Innovation equips current and future leaders to explore and design innovative pathways toward more sustainable business practices. You will gain practical tools and frameworks to anticipate trends, manage complexity, and lead transformative change. A particular focus is placed on building resilience and long-term value through innovative business models and cross-sector collaboration. The program helps you develop the mindset and capabilities needed to make sustainable business innovation a strategic pillar of lasting performance and impact.
This CAS is a programme of the Center for Leadership and Innovation in Society (CLIS-HSG).

Course structure and modules
The whole program includes a total of 15 course days. The modules may be completed in any order. To obtain the CAS certificate, participants must complete all four modules.
- Module Business Model Innovation: 21.-25.09.2026 / 20.-24.09.2027 (5 days)
- Module Purpose-Driven Leadership: 02.-05.11.2026 / 08.-11.11.2027 (4 days)
- Module Strategy: 26.-29.04.2027 (4 days)
- Module Performance: 01.-02.06.2027 (2 days online)
Along the journey, you’ll engage in your individual business challenges, coaching sessions and peer action learning.
It is also possible to book each module individually.
